We’ve been busy this week catering for a wedding at Cote How on Rydal Water near Ambleside. Although the weather wasn’t perfect we made sure the happy couple and their guests still had a memorable time. Not everyone enjoys formal sit down meals so we like to offer a more relaxed option and a hog roast was perfect for this couple.

We offer both sweet and savoury canapes though without a doubt our yorkie puds are everyone’s favourite, even those with special diets.

Catering for a guest who had a dietary requirement we provided gluten – free canapes and some homemade gluten-free Belgian chocolate brownies.

A popular choice for our couples is a wedding cheese cake, accompanied with Grasmere gingerbread which is transformed into a cheese supper for the guests in the evening.

The hog roast came with all the trimmings such as crackling and Jasons homemade Apple sauce. Waiting for the guests to finish their speeches we started to carve the pig and get the table set up.

After the speeches, we were able to serve the guests the hog roast and all the trimmings. They even came up for seconds and enjoyed the food we provided.
