Last weekend we provided a casual lunch for the AGM of the‘Friends of the Lake District’ at Grasmere Village Hall. On the menu was a selection of sandwiches, hallomui and beetroot salad, lentil, sweet potato and feta salad as well as frittata, brownie bites and lemon bites. Catering to everyone’s tastes we provided goats cheese and salad, beetroot hummus and mint, tuna mayonnaise and cucumber, and egg mayonnaise sandwich fillings. Also on the menu was sausage rolls which quickly devoured by the guests.
Catering for those with dietary requirements we provided gluten-free sandwiches, crisps, and lemon bites. For those who followed a vegetarian diet, we provided a halloumi, beetroot, and quinoa seed salad as well as beetroot and hummus sandwiches.
We assisted the guests with service and answered the questions of the guests who were keen to know more about the dishes provided and how we prepared them.
It was a pleasure to a provide a delicious lunch and we love receiving the feedback that it was nice to have something different for a change as not many people provide such a varied and exciting lunch.
